My therapeutic style is warm, inviting, and engaged.
My theoretical perspective foundation is very person-centered and I strive for unconditional positive regard for all my clients. I utilize existential philosophies to help my clients dig deep to find meaning, purpose, and even JOY in their lives.
I have extensive experience in working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, sexuality, and gender identity. I work with adolescents with sexuality and gender identity questions and concerns.
I am LGBTQIA affirming.
I earned my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, from the University of Wyoming and I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the state of Wyoming. I earned my masters in Counseling from Adams State University, in Alamosa, Colorado.
A little more about me:
I teach university graduate students full-time in a hybrid program on the East Coast. I grew up in Austin, Tx. and have lived in Laramie since 2012. I love our community and I am so thankful to call Laramie home.
I do take most insurance and will submit electronic invoices for both in and out of network insurance. I encourage you to call your insurance company before we meet to be sure there are no surprises for you related to your deductible and co-pays. My fee is $150 for a 50-minute session.
COVID-19:
I am currently seeing clients through tele-health on a HIPAA Compliant Zoom platform. I hope to be back in person very soon!
